Dr. Myers, an optometrist of over ten years, is seasoned in both traditional eyecare and neuro optometry. Having spent time in hospital, clinical and retail settings Dr. Myers has helped children and adults see, feel and look better using optical techniques. His philosophy is to look at each patient's individual needs and create a plan to help them through use of traditional eyecare, neuro optometry methods, and lens and frame selection.
Dr. Myers most recently practiced at the Mind-Eye Institute (Northbrook, IL), training under the world-renowned Dr. Deborah Zelinsky in methods to help optometry improve the brain and the functions it controls. He has also worked and learned at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital (Minneapolis, MN), Kennedy Eye Associates (MN) and SEE optical. As a graduate of the University of Kansas, Dr. Myers is a die-hard Jayhawk fan. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and completed several externships in the St. Louis area in 2011 and 2012. He currently resides in Highland Park, IL where he enjoys running, beer, basketball and raising his two little ones (who are the wildest of the bunch).

Marisa Kowalsky is a lifelong lover of eyewear and a professional marketing strategist. She conducted eyewear buying internationally, in traditional retail, and through vintage collections. Her philosophy is that eyewear is one of the most important accessories one can choose. Good eyewear gives you the confidence to interact well with a beautiful world, to put your best self forward, and to express yourself. She was shocked at the effectiveness of neuro optometry when Dan used the technique to modify her prescription, the unbearable motion sickness she experienced while driving (which had significantly worsened post-pregnancy) was almost completely eliminated.
Marisa earned her MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and her BA in English and Communications from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She has been a leader in marketing and product strategy at large enterprises such as 3M and ITW (Illinois Tool Works); currently working at UL Solutions in Northbrook. She and Dan live in Highland Park and are raising two little ones.
